About The Author
Ray Allen Rush
Ray Allen Rush was born in 1963 and raised as the youngest of six on a Kansas farm. He earned a bachelor’s degree in social work and has focused much of his life helping others find strength, hope, and healing.
He currently lives on a small homestead not far from an old abandoned road, where he engages with the Lord through prayer late at night. His greatest joy is not found solely in the soil where he tends a variety of vegetables and blooms; it’s found in praying with people and watching lives transform through the love of Jesus.
He is occasionally seen parked along a small-town highway near signs that read, “Pull Over & Let’s Pray About It,” offering prayer to anyone in need of prayer and encouragement. His personal story of redemption fuels his passion to see others set free.
Alongside his writing, Ray has also composed a variety of songs, many inspired by the encounters and revelations that shaped his book. Some echo specific moments from his journey, while others offer guidance to listeners to help them encounter the presence of Jesus in a personal way.
